About Us

The Nepal Stroke Association (NSA) is Nepal's leading organization focused on stroke education, awareness, prevention, management, and post-stroke care. Established in March 2017 by the Neuro and Allied Clinic team in Anchalpur, Bhairahawa, Nepal, NSA is dedicated to reducing the impact of stroke in the country.

Our mission is to alleviate the burden of stroke in Nepal through education, prevention, treatment, and post-stroke support. We aim to achieve this by:

• Raising awareness about stroke within the community and among healthcare professionals.
• Offering education and training in partnership with government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and stroke organizations globally.
• Promoting best practices in stroke management across Nepal.
• Supporting the development of systems and organizations to assist stroke survivors and their families.
• Advancing stroke research in Nepal.
• Advocating for policies that improve stroke management and services in the country.
